Red Hat Open Design Community Report 2022
Red Hatters from a variety of design disciplines were asked to complete the design practice survey. This survey taps into designers’ sentiments on a range of topics, from current practices and principles to future philosophies and opportunities. Insights from this survey are then used to press forward Red Hat's goal of enabling every designer to do what they do best: Design.

Design Ask
I was tasked to create a report, synthesizing and visualizing data from the survey. By visualizing and condensing this data, insights from the hundreds of survey results were much more digestible and easily understood. This report was then sent out to Red Hat's designers to gain more insights on overall feelings, best practices, and ways we as a team could improve.
Laying out pages
I created the report in Adobe Indesign. By using parent pages and an overarching grid, I was able to create a consistent visual and experience for the users.
Accessibility
Accessibility was a large consideration when creating this report. In order to make this accessible to those with color blindness, color combinations were checked for legibility and there was always supplementary information provided with any data visuals.
